If you completed the integration of AdRoll ABM and HubSpot for the first time before 2/18/2026 your HubSpot instance will have AdRoll ABM legacy properties that are no longer used. This article will help you identify the newest custom properties and how to delete the legacy ones.
AdRoll ABM custom properties in HubSpot are categorized under Groups. The name of the Group determines if the custom property is new or legacy. In addition to the Group, all deprecated properties use the prefix RWLEGACY.

Delete AdRoll Legacy Properties
Don't delete
- Any properties under the group called AdRoll Data for [your profile name].
- The property AdRoll Sourced. This property can be found under the group called AdRoll Data.
Ask your CRM admin to delete or archive only properties with the prefix RWLEGACY, here you can learn more about deleting and archiving properties in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.
If you accidentally delete a new AdRoll custom property in HubSpot, don't worry. They will be created and populated with data on the next daily sync.
It's advisable to remove legacy properties for these reasons:
- Data Accuracy: Legacy properties are no longer updated by the integration, meaning the data they contain may be blank or outdated.
- Better End User Experience: Legacy properties can lead to inconsistent data, as users might accidentally populate them or wonder if they should be used. Removing them ensures your data is focused and reliable.
- Decluttering: Unused properties can count towards limits (depending on your plan and the property type).
