Company property mapping is a critical step to configure how RollWorks creates accounts in your HubSpot instance, ensuring that data flows smoothly and accurately. RollWorks can create new Company records in your HubSpot through the following features:
-
-
- The RollWorks Command Center: this feature provides you with a unified view of our data signals (firmographic fit, intent, journey state) surfacing insights that highlight where there is uncaptured demand. The feature will flag which of those accounts do not yet exist in your CRM and so that you can create new Company records in HubSpot.
- Contact Discovery Workflows: this feature uncovers new contacts within accounts that exhibit buying signals and creates new contacts or lead records into your HubSpot instance with minimal clicks. As part of the settings of this contact creation workflow you can decide if new account records should also be created when an account does not already exist in your CRM.

How to configure HubSpot Company Property Mapping
To configure your current HubSpot Company field mapping settings:
- Clicking here or navigate to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot
- Scroll down to Field Mapping
- Click on Edit next to HubSpot Company
RollWorks Sourced Field
This mandatory field mapping allows you to identify in HubSpot which Companies have been created by RollWorks through the Command Center or Contact Discovery Workflows. This field can help with attribution to RollWorks or to create reports.
When you complete the initial HubSpot integration with RollWorks, we automatically create a custom property called “RollWorks Sourced” in your standard account object.
When RollWorks creates a new Company record in your HubSpot instance we will update the custom property “RollWorks Sourced” to True, so that you have an indication of what records have been created by RollWorks.
Your CRM admin can use this field to create logic to assign the newly created account records to your Sales team.
Fixed Value field mapping
In addition to the RollWorks fields mentioned in this guide, you can map a static or fixed value to an Account field of your choice.
This can be especially useful if you want to specify an account spike level.
- Click Add Field
- Select Fixed Value
- Type the static text value you want to be synced whenever a new account record is created by RollWorks.
- Select the HubSpot Account field where we should write this static text value. In the example we will write the static value "New RollWorks Account" to the HubSpot Account Field Spike Level
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
Default Company Owner in HubSpot
The Company Owner for the newly created Company record will be blank.
Managing Changes
- When you change your Company property mapping the changes are applied immediately to your active workflows.
- If you make changes to field mappings after a Contact Discovery Workflow has started, the changes will not apply retroactively for contacts and leads created before the change. They will only take effect for any new accounts created in the next Workflow run after the field mapping changes have been saved in RollWorks.
- Since mappings are stored centrally, any changes you make will apply to Company mapping being created from anywhere across the RW platform, for example, new Company records created from Command Center.
Error Handling
- If a default field or a user-selected field becomes unavailable (e.g., if the field name is changed in your CRM), RollWorks will display a warning on both the workflow action slider and the edit mapping slider. This alert helps you identify fields that need attention.
- To resolve issues with unavailable fields, you can either map the field to a different HubSpot field or delete the mapping. Note that you cannot delete or change mappings for mandatory fields.
