What is Email Verification for RollWorks customers?

When you sign up to RollWorks for the first time, you are required to verify your email address in order to activate your account so that we can maintain your account security.

 

How do I verify my email when I sign up for the first time?

  • Once you have signed up you will be directed to a 'Verify your email' landing pageev1.jpeg
  • Check your email inbox for an email from RollWorks
🚨  The verification link in this email will only last 24 hours so it is recommended that you verify your email address as soon as possible!

  • Click 'Verify Email Address' and activate your RollWorks account
      • If you are logged in to your RollWorks account, you will be directed to a confirmation landing page and can proceed with setting up your account.
      • If you are not logged in to your RollWorks account you will prompt to log in to RollWorks, please enter your original signup credentials.

 

How do I resend the verification email if the token expires?

If when you click your verification email link you are directed to an expired landing page simply click 'Resend verification link' and check your email inbox for a new email from RollWorks.

How do I change my email address before I verify my email?

  • Once you have signed up you will be directed to a 'Verify your email' landing page

  • If you would like to change the email address you signed up with, click the link 'Click here' in the verification email you received.
  • You will be directed to a new landing page where you can change the email address you signed up with

  • Enter your email address in the email field

  • Click 'Send new verification link' to save your new email address. This new email address will be your sign in details moving forward

  • Check your email inbox for an email from RollWorks. The verification link in this new email will only last 24 hours so it is recommended that you verify your email address as soon as possible!
  • Open the email and click 'Verify Email Address' and activate your RollWorks account

  • Click 'Verify Email Address' and activate your RollWorks account
      • If you are logged in to your RollWorks account, you will be directed to a confirmation landing page and can proceed with setting up your account.
      • If you are not logged in to your RollWorks account you will prompt to log in to RollWorks, please enter your original signup credentials.

 

How do I cancel an email verification sent to the wrong email address?

  • Login to RollWorks and go to 'Settings' > 'Personal Information'
  • Click 'Cancel New Email Verification'
  • Your email address will revert to the original email address before any changes were requested
  • This original email will remain your login credentials

 

Can I change the email address for another RollWorks account used in my team?

No, you can only change your own email address by logging in and going to 'Settings' > 'Personal information'.

You cannot change the email address associated with another RollWorks account user in your team.

You cannot change your email address to be the same as an existing user.

 

Why am I not receiving the Email Verification from RollWorks?

 

Troubleshooting  Steps
Confirm that you have signed up to RollWorks with the correct email address 
  • If you are still logged in after signing up, you can check what email address you entered on the signup form to make sure it’s correct 
  • Go to https://app.adroll.com/welcome/verify-email 
  • Confirm that the correct email address was entered  
Search your email inbox with these keywords
  • Go to your email inbox and try searching for support@rollworks.com or RollWorks to find any new emails that may have been moved.
  • Alternatively, try searching for Please verify your email address to activate your RollWorks account! 

Check your spam folder and your email filter settings.

  • Depending on your email provider, some settings may need to be updated to ensure that emails from RollWorks are not filtered out of your inbox. We recommend:
      • checking your spam folder
      • checking your email inbox filters
