The IntentMap™

RollWorks reads signals from over 1.2 billion digital profiles every day. The IntentMap™ data set is one of the largest intent-based data sets available. Lookalike Targeting campaigns tap into this data to find potential customers who not only look like your current customers, but also act like them.

Here are some examples of the types of data the IntentMap™ can use when you opt in:

  • Advertiser domain

  • Visitors’ browsing and shopping activity on the advertiser site

  • Vertical category of the advertiser site

  • Geography via IP addresses (in the U.S., this includes zip codes).

Note: The IntentMap™ only uses data from opted-in websites.

Opt In

To opt in:

  1. Go to Settings > Opt-Ins.

  2. Check the box next to Find new visitors who behave just like converters on your site.

  3. Click Save.

Once opted in, RollWorks uses these signals from your site visitors and other opted-in advertisers' site visitors. This creates an audience of new users that act like your existing customers and are likely to be interested in your products. 

How We Protect Your Audiences

We don't transfer cookies or reveal your campaign performance to other advertisers. Brand Awareness analyzes digital profiles individually across sites. We don't offer competitor targeting or website-level audiences.

Collected Data

RollWorks collects the same information for Lookalike Targeting as we do for Retargeting. This includes the content that your visitor views, the date and time that she visits, the products she purchases, and location information associated with the IP addresses.

Lookalike Targeting doesn't use explicit personal information such as name, phone number, physical address, or date of birth. 

Opt Out

You can opt out at any time. If you opt out, RollWorks will no longer contribute your information to the data set.

Note: You must be opted in to run any Lookalike Targeting campaigns. If you opt out while running a Lookalike Targeting campaign, your campaign will be paused until you opt in.

Opt In on a Client's Behalf

If you're an agency and want to opt in on your client's behalf, you must have login access to the client’s RollWorks campaigns in order to opt in.
