Latest Pixel version available
On May 30th, 2020 we released a new version of the Pixel called Pixel 2.0 to deliver the following performance improvements:
- Page Load Times: The latest version of the Pixel is built to load faster. It loads nearly 3 times faster than the prior version, delivering a better experience to the users browsing your website.
- Single Page Applications: The latest version of the Pixel works seamlessly with single-page applications and form fills, making it easier than ever to track your high-value visitors.
- Dynamic Tracking: The latest version of the Pixel tracks page properties without the need for manually passing any global variables. This results in a more seamless event and conversion tracking.
Check your Pixel version
Launch PixelPal to confirm what version of the Pixel is implemented on your website. JS Pixel detected (2.0) indicates you have the latest version installed.
Updating your Pixel
It is not mandatory as the AdRoll ABM platform supports both Pixel versions. However, we strongly recommend implementing the latest version of the Pixel so that you can benefit from its performance improvements.

Remove the old Pixel
We strongly recommend that the previous version of the Pixel is removed from your website when you activate your new Pixel 2.0
