Using Adobe Illustrator to create your ads may result in images that are 1 pixel larger than the sizes acceptable by the RollWorks platform. This is a common Adobe Illustrator occurrence where artboards are not aligned to the pixel grid (resulting in an unwanted extra pixel being included in the final export).
When you try to upload the ads, you will receive the following error message:
Troubleshooting your ads
If you are seeing the error mentioned above, the first step to investigate is to check the properties of the image to see if it has the required dimensions. In the example below, a 300x250 ad was created in Adobe Illustrator and after exporting it the resulting image was 301x251.
How to export ads using Adobe Illustrator
To prevent Adobe Illustrator from adding additional pixels to your ad creatives follow the recommendations below:

Ensure artboards are aligned to the pixel grid by setting the artboard X, Y, width, and height as clean whole numbers.

Set the reference point to the top left corner.

Use the newer Export for Screens dialog for cleaner and more precise exports.
