On February 16, 2026
Some active and paused Lookalike (AdRoll & AdRoll ABM) & Contextual (AdRoll only) campaigns will be ended and simultaneously launched as new campaigns, on your behalf*:
- The new campaigns will be identical: the same budget, targeting, creative assets etc.
- Your campaigns are only expected to be offline for a few minutes, at most.
- AdRoll is performing this action as part of a general software update.
*Deleted ad groups, deleted ads and ad groups that have an end date that has been reached, will not be migrated.
After February 16, 2026
- You will access historical data for ended campaigns by filtering for campaign Status to: Ended.
- Going forward, you will report on relaunched campaigns by filtering campaign Status to: Current.
Some relaunched campaigns may adopt AdRoll’s modern user interface that is both more intuitive and enables access to expanded capabilities such as keyword targeting and draft capabilities.
If you have questions or wish to opt-out of campaigns being relaunched on your behalf, please contact customer support or your Account Manager by February 11, 2026.
Alert! Any campaigns you opt-out cannot be restarted.
FAQs
Do re-launched campaigns inherit historical optimization data?
Relaunching is a ‘cold start’ because new campaigns have no delivery history, the algorithm treats it as a brand-new entity. It will re-enter the Learning Phase to gather fresh data on user signals and conversion patterns.
How do I measure CPA on campaigns during the transition?
Completed campaigns may still receive conversions within the attribution window you’ve set in your attribution settings, which can temporarily lower the reported CPA since spend has ended. New campaigns will spend and track conversions separately. For the clearest performance view during the transition, review both campaigns together in aggregate by selecting them both in your campaigns dropdown.
