RollWorks data in HubSpot
After completing the HubSpot Integration initial configuration outlined in this Help Center guide, RollWorks will automatically create a set of custom Company Properties in HubSpot to export RollWorks data.
Contact-level RollWorks data is not synced to HubSpot
We don't sync any contact-level ad performance metrics, account identification, or spike data to HubSpot Contact or Lead records, therefore you cannot create Contact or Lead HubSpot reports using RollWorks data. Only Company-level reports can be created in HubSpot.
Using the different RollWorks Company properties available in HubSpot you can create different types of reports:
- Engagement & Advertising reports (page views, ad clicks, etc). Jump to this article.
- Account identification reports (journey stage, ICP fit grade, keyword intent). Jump to this article.
- Account Spike reports (account spike level, date, and matched contacts). Continue reading to learn how to create and use Account Spike Reports in HubSpot.
Account Spike data attributes available in HubSpot
The Company properties in the table below are available to use to create HubSpot Custom Reports.
Custom Company Properties |
Definition |
---|---|
Spike Level |
✍️ Spike Level is the primary data point that should be utilized by your Sales team to prioritize accounts spiking in engagement. We use machine learning to establish Account Spike thresholds as Low, Medium, or High. These Spike Levels are dynamic and responsive to the volume of organic site traffic for your site to ensure that when accounts are flagged as Low, Medium, or High for spike activity, it is compared to your own organic website engagement. |
Last Spike Date |
Shows the last time an account spiked in engagement. |
Last Spike has Matched Contacts |
This is a true/false boolean field that indicates if we were able to match the engagement Spike for this Account to any of your existing CRM contacts at the moment the Spike happened. Learn more about how matched contacts work here. |
The Sales Insights Spike properties available to create custom reports are available only for ‘Company’ records only, therefore you will need to select ‘Company’ as the ‘primary data source’ when creating a Custom Report in HubSpot. At this time Sales Insights Spike properties are not available for Contact or Lead records.
Organize your RollWorks Reports & Dashboards in HubSpot
As a first step, we recommend that you create different Dashboards in HubSpot to stay organized and help your Sales team use and understand RollWorks data. The instructions in this guide should provide guidance to build reports and visualizations, however, you can customize and create your own reports as needed. Dashboards will help you keep your reports organized and accessible to team members.
Dashboards recommended | How to use them |
---|---|
RollWorks Spiking Account Dashboard |
Show your Sales team what companies are showing the highest web engagement, or as we call it: Spike. “Spike Level” will rank the level of engagement shown by the Company (High🔥🔥🔥, Medium🔥🔥, or Low🔥). “Spike Date” will let you know when the engagement occurred. “Last Spike has Matched Contacts” will indicate if RollWorks has been able to de-anonymize the visitor against your Contacts. |

Your most valuable Accounts for your Sales teams to act on are those that exhibit:
- Most recent Spike date, time is of the essence to act on Spike data.
- High Spike level 🔥🔥🔥, the most significant increase in engagement with your website.
- Have matched contacts in your CRM, so you know who to reach out to.
Filter Spiking Accounts by 'Last Spike has matched contacts'
'Last Spike Has Matched Contacts' is a true/false boolean property in HubSpot that indicates if there are any matched deanonymized contacts for an account with a recent Account Spike at the moment the last Spike happened.
RollWorks will write in the 'Last Spike Has Matched Contacts' property only when all three conditions below are met:
- An Account Spike was recorded for this specific account record.
- A contact record exists in your CRM with a valid email address (this is a legal requirement).
- The email address captured by the Pixel is an exact 1-to-1 match with the email address in the existing CRM contact record.
