CTV Budget and Audience Requirements

CTV Minimum Spend

  • If you are a Self-service customer the minimum daily budget for each CTV campaign is USD $165. We strongly recommend running CTV campaigns for at least one month for optimal results.
  • If you are a Managed Services customer, reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager to determine your minimum budget for CTV campaigns.

 

Ad Credits are not supported for CTV

  • If you have Media Credits as part of your contract they cannot be used towards your CTV campaign spend.
  • AdRoll will bill you for the CTV Campaign spend separately from your Media Credits.

 

CTV Geotargeting

  • Your target audience must be located in the US, Canada, or Australia. 
  • As the advertiser, you can physically be located anywhere in the world.

 

CTV Minimum Audience Size

  • Your target audience should consist of over 50,000 households ideally, but 10,000 households at bare minimum. Use the Audience Estimator tool in the campaign buyflow to get a sense of audience size prior to launch.
  • We recommend targeting a broad audience to launch a successful CTV campaign with optimal performance and a sizable target audience aligned with the budget.
  • Align the inputs used in your Website Audience with those used in other ad channels, such as display. This consistency supports more cohesive reporting, allowing you to view CTV both as an individual channel and as part of a broader strategy that influences the full buying committee.
