There are two different ways you can set your timing increments in a Sales Automation Sequence; a Smart Pause or a Custom Pause.
Smart Pause
A Smart Pause gets automatically added between each Sales Automation template within your Sales Automation Sequence. A Smart Pause is the time between each email sent and is dynamically adjusted based on email opens and clicks to optimize each campaign. Smart Pauses are typically 2 to 10 days long.
Custom Pause
If you would prefer to set your own email timing increments, you can click on the gear next to the Smart Pause and switch your timing to a Custom Pause. When using the Custom Pause, you can control the exact day of week and time, based on the timezone set for each of your reps in your Sales Automation Settings, that you'd like your Sales Automation Templates to send.
